How are you,
I wanted to tell you a little about me, my educational background and basically give you an idea of who I am, where I was before I found Wealthy Affiliate, and whats different now that I’ve been working with the Wealthy Affiliate community for a few months now.
I’m sure you’ve read quite a few of these “look at me before, and look at me now” type testimonials…
however mine differs because its genuine. I’m a real person, hardworking, no different than anyone else and with no extraordinary skills. In fact I’m certain if you read on you’ll soon agree with that.Having said that my name is Billy McAdams (Billy Mac.),
I’m born and raised in South Jersey 10 minutes from Philadelphia in a small town called Maple Shade. I’m a welder by trade and I have only a high school education, never went to college. I did however goto technical school back in 1994 for “commercial diving” and I was very successful with that for 5yrs. until I ruptured my inner ear and could no longer dive. I could have gotten surgery on my inner ear and probably would have been able to continue. But I’m scared to death of Doctors, so no surgery for me, that was definitely out! Plus I was growing tired of being away from home all week, and so was my wife and newborn son.
I was a welder for “ever” it seemed and so I fell back on that.
Any how I went back to work for a company in Pennsauken, NJ, who contracts work in power plants for “Waste Management”. The work was in the boilers of these power plants welding the high pressure steam tubes that feed the steam turbine, and generate the electricity we use everyday. All of their plants were “trash to steam” plants, meaning they burn your trash that’s picked up every week to generate their electricity instead of coal or fuel oil.
The work was Hot beyond belief! and filthy dirty! Although I was earning just under $40.00/hr. and doing quite well financially, I knew there had to be a better way and I just had to find it.
So I said to myself. . .I’m gonna have to look at training resources and make a career move. I couldn’t continue much longer with my excruciating schedule. I was home at best Saturday and Sunday and home so late Friday nite that I really only had 2 days a week with my family. And then I was right back out again on Monday.
That was when it hit me! Instead of having to enroll and spend a small fortune to attend another technical school, why couldn’t I do the same thing in the comfort of my own home with an online course. I had seen online courses advertised numerous times from the county college programs that came in the mail all the time. And so I started looking for something to learn online that would allow me to make a living at home, in my home office but, something that wouldn’t require a computer science degree to realistically accomplish.
I started looking for and comparing different ways I could earn an honest living on-line. I had been duped twice now by some very clever people and was starting to question whether this was gonna be possible.
I then found this Wealthy Affiliate site while searching for places to learn how to market “Clickbank” products. The guys name is Marcus and he’s one of the “Super Affiliates” at Wealthy Affiliate.
Long story short, he had a similar page as this one, and you could just tell that he was genuine and I have to say I was truly inspired by what he had to say about Wealthy Affiliate, and what they do for their members. I could totally relate to everything he said, so I now thought to myself this sounds definitely possible! And I joined WA right on the spot through his site.
I said to myself whats the worst that could happen? If I don’t get anything out of it I’ll cancel and it will be the last dollar I spend online if I get duped again!
Well I didn’t get duped and I can tell you I’m going to be at Wealthy Affiliate for a long time to come. I’m currently learning what I set out to do, and that was to find an alternative way to earn a living so I could have a normal life with my family. But the beauty of it is I’m earning while learning. And that’s no B.S.
I am currently following the step by step instructions and I’m seeing results everyday. I’m not breaking the bank by any means, but I am getting along pretty good, and getting better everyday. So check them out, maybe you could relate to what I said here and are in a similar situation. If your looking for a better way to earn a living, then I would highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate. I’m glad I took the chance.
